Harleen -Â Math, Science & Reading Tutor in North York
Hello, my name is Harleen Saini and I am a tutor with Tutoring Toronto. I have an MD (graduating class of '18) and BSC Life Sciences from McMaster University (graduating class of '12). I really enjoy tutoring/teaching and firmly believe that the delivery of education needs to be more effective and take into account the different learning styles among students. In compliance with this principle, I take a very creative and thorough approach to my sessions. I have been tutoring for over 10 years and have gathered a lot of helpful experiences and tips on how to best help my students achieve their goals. Besides tutoring, I enjoy hiking, writing, reading, and going on runs with my dog. I've lived in over 5 different states in the US while I was in medical school and I've driven all along the east coast, from Eastport, Maine, all the way down to Miami, Florida. I've hiked part of the Appalachian mountain range at it's origin in Georgia, and also up in Connecticut and Maine (p.s. I like the Rockies better).

Hi! My name is Christian Lee, a MSc student in Medical BioPhysics and recent graduate from University of Toronto St. George in genome biology. I began tutoring math, sciences and Spanish in high school, worked as a lead summer school instructor in math and English for a class of 35 students, and have continued to help university peers and high school students in the Oakville area. Having lived in both the United States and Canada, I also have personal experience with the SAT, SATII, ACT, and college applications. I firmly believe in fostering understanding and application through teaching, skills demanded and invaluable during university and beyond, yet inadequately developed during early education. I look forward to working with you!

Theoni - English & ESL Tutor in Toronto
Some background information about myself: I am a fourth year undergraduate at the University of Toronto, studying Criminology, Sociology, and Philosophy. I am scheduled to graduate this year and the next steps for me is a post-grad masters program and/or law school. I have always had a passion for English, in terms of both reading and writing, and I enjoy sharing and teaching this passion with others. I am patient and creative in my lessons, and have a background in teaching private piano lessons for the last four years. I take great pride in my students doing well, and work hard to help them achieve their goals.

Abinaya - Math & Science Tutor in Scarborough

My name is Manjot (Joti) Dhindsa and I'm an English tutor at our Brampton location for all ages throughout elementary, middle and high school! I'm currently completing my major in English Literature at Tyndale University College, with a specialization in Writing and Communication. As you can probably imagine, I've had a love for reading growing up, so finding new authors, exploring the world of literature, and talking to other people who are equally as passionate. is probably a top hobby for me. Other than that, I love to hike, bake and meet new people! I believe that this love for English and how everything related to literature excites me is the reason I make a great teacher! When you are truly excited about something every day, there's a totally different spark and passion you can ignite in other people you teach as well! It's my goal to make all students love the subject material and understand that it's way more than a required course that they just need to pass. Your ability to read, write and articulate your ideas is so critical in every area of life.. and did I mention how much fun it is?! So, I look forward to meeting and working with you all!
